But we also recognize that coming to a new place - let a lone a church - can be incredibly intimidating.
Whether you're just checking out what it means to have faith because life has been hard lately or you're a long-time follower of Christ, we simply want you to know that we designed this weekend with you in mind. At New Community, we love Easter weekend because it means we see more faces than normal. We see friends we haven't seen for a while... We meet guests that we hope will return... And we watch children have the time of their lives!
So we're hoping this weekend you'll stop by.
On Saturday we have the largest Egg Hunt you'll find east of the Mississippi (okay, maybe not, but it's pretty huge!) at the Buckhannon River Walk. Bring a flashlight and come hang out with us for food trucks, family activities, and a flashlight egg hunt later in the evening! We start at 6 pm and wrap up at 9 pm, and IT'S COMPLETELY FREE!
Then, join us on Sunday morning for one of our three services at 8:30, 10, or 11:30 am. We meet at 13 South Florida St. in Buckhannon, and if you have kiddos they'll have an incredible time.
We can't wait to see you all, and believe it or not we're making all the arrangements we can for you to have an amazing Easter!
