Join us on September 24th from 6-8 pm as we dig into Tough Talks: Conversations on Self, Sexuality, and Scripture. This will be a special evening for parents to be equipped and encouraged to engage healthy conversation with their students.
This evening will be facilitated by William Mack, lead pastor of Grace Church in Louisville, KY. William was born and raised in Louisville, KY. He was educated through the Jefferson County School System and is a proud graduate of Jefferson County Alternative High School. William entered the University of Kentucky in the fall of 1997. While at UK, William co founded and served as campus minister with the Abundant Life Bible Study, a weekly bible fellowship with over one hundred students. He also served as Chaplin and Emcee for the University of Kentucky Black Voices, and Student President of the Kentucky Education Association. William graduated from UK with a BA in Fine Arts with an emphasis in African American Theatre. Since then, William has been commissioned to write, direct, and produce plays for schools, churches, sororities, and other non-profit agencies, in the state.
William surrendered to the call of God on his life in September of 1998 and now serves as the lead planter/pastor of Grace Community Covenant Church (GC3), located in the Portland community of West Louisville. William is also certified through several curricula as a Sexual Health Specialist and Life Skills Coach. For the last eleven years, Mack has facilitated instruction and led workshops for the faculty, students, and staff of the University of Louisville, University of Kentucky, Upward Bound, Jefferson County Public Schools, Jefferson County Youth Corrections, Young Life, YMCA, and Youth for Christ.
