Astronauts don’t suit up to sit around. The stakes are too high. Astronauts have a mission. And their missions happen in space.

New Community is a family on mission. We believe the space the body of Christ finds itself in these days is liminal - somewhat uncharted, post-Christian, and exilic. We believe the people of God are called to this space not with passivity, but with purpose and intentionality. God’s mission in the world, begun in Jesus, is to be carried on and carried out by his people, the Church. A life of faith is a life of adventure, a life on the margins, a life called to suit up and set out.
